Easy Skillet ‘Baked’ Ziti Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz.) Victoria® Low Sodium Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 2-½ cups water
  • 8 ounces uncooked ziti pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves

Directions

  1. Season ground beef with salt and pepper and brown in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Drain if desired. Add Victoria Low Sodium Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce and water, stir well. Add ziti and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Stir in ½ cup mozzarella.
  2. Combine ricotta and Parmesan cheeses. Dollop cheese over ziti and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Cover and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with basil leaves.
