Bolognese with Fusilli Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 oz diced pancetta
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 jar Marinara Sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz fusilli, cooked and drained

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add pancetta, carrots, celery, onion, garlic and salt and cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  2. Add beef and cook, breaking up beef until browned, about 5 minutes. Add wine and simmer 2 minutes. Add milk and cook 3 minutes until reduced slightly.
  3. Add Victoria Marinara Sauce and chicken broth and simmer 15 minutes. Toss Bolognese with fusilli and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Tips

Use a combination of beef and pork for a richer flavor.
